The Role
Our client is seeking a partnership track Associate to join the Tax Department in New York. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of transactional tax matters, with particular exposure to structured finance, RICs, project finance and wider financing transactions.
The role will include:
- Transactional tax support advising on the tax aspects of structured finance, RICs and project finance matters
- Financing transactions supporting tax analysis across domestic and cross border financing structures
- Complex issue spotting identifying tax issues and translating technical concepts into clear, practical advice
Required
Three to seven years of transactional experience with a focus on structured finance, RICs, project finance or financing transactions
Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex tax concepts Excellent analytical, drafting and client facing skills
