The Role

Our client is seeking an Associate to join its asset securitization practice. The team advises borrowers, issuers, funds, banks, marketplace platforms, commercial paper conduits and other financial institutions on a wide range of structured finance matters. The work spans asset based financings, asset backed securities issuances, marketplace loan portfolio purchases, merger and acquisition financings, cash flow loans, working capital facilities, real estate finance transactions and cross border secured financings.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to sophisticated securitization and structured finance transactions and work closely with leading practitioners in the market.

The role will include

  • Structured finance transactions supporting ABS, MBS, CLO and wider securitisation matters
  • Asset based and secured financings assisting with the structuring, documentation and execution of asset based and cross border secured transactions
  • Capital markets and portfolio work contributing to asset backed securities issuances and purchases of marketplace loan portfolios
  • Financing mandates working on M&A financings, cash flow loans and working capital revolving credit facilities
  • Client collaboration engaging with a diverse client base including banks, funds, issuers and platforms

Required

  • Structured finance experience, which may include asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities or CLO transactions
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively within a team
